Royal Air Force 617 Squadron The Dambusters Wooden Sign

Commemorate the extraordinary courage of Bomber Command with this vintage-style 617 Squadron tribute sign from Suffolks Signs. Featuring the official Royal Air Force squadron badge alongside a dramatic night raid scene, this piece captures the spirit of Operation Chastise and the legendary "Dambusters".

Set against a weathered RAF-blue wood grain finish, the left panel proudly displays the official 617 Squadron crest complete with the Tudor Crown and the famous motto "APRÈS MOI LE DÉLUGE". The centre showcases arched golden and red typography framed by winged RAF pilot roundels, leading into an evocative illustration of an Avro Lancaster banking through crossing searchlight beams over a surging dam breach. Realistic flaking paint, grain cracks, and distressed timber edges give the plaque an authentic, aged appearance.

Dimensions: 40cm x 14cm (approx. 15.7" x 5.5")

A standout decorative accent for an office, study, home bar, garage, or aviation gallery, and an ideal gift for RAF veterans, military history buffs, and aviation enthusiasts.
